Bye-Bye March

Today is the last day of March. We have had an eventful month and I would like to recap. First, our sweetie pie Avery turned 1. She is such a joy.
Then my Dad and sister came for my birthday. We also got to have some "fun girl time" and went shopping.

Todd and my Dad practiced being AMAZING purse models with my new purse.

For my birthday we also spent some time in the ER. Mason shut Avery's little finger in the door. Todd and I were completely freaked out because her perfect little pinky looked crooked and twisted and all wrong. Turns out in 20 minutes or so some little fingers go back to normal. Who knew?

Todd's business is really starting to get busy which is nice. He is really starting to expand into different areas. He framed a basement, trimmed a house, and was the general contractor for a housing authority job.

My clinic had the largest event that we have ever had. We had some training and were able to work with another Audiologist for 3 1/2 days. and we helped the most people that we ever had in that amount of time. It was excellent. But of course now we are extremely busy and have been putting in many hours to keep up.

We have really had some horrible weather about once every week. Dr. C ended up going off the road on his way to the Lamar clinic. Thankfully, he was ok and after being towed out of the ditch he was able to limp his car home at 30 mph. Renee wasn't with him because of the event that we were having in our office.

Renee is now 18 weeks pregnant and in 2 more weeks she gets to find out the gender of the newest little Cichon baby. We are all very excited.

The kids got a really horrible cough, fevers, and runny noses. They both have this very croupy cough. Mason had a hard time sleeping so we were getting very little sleep. Avery seemed to do a little better. I was very worried because there was a day where they wouldn't drink or eat anything. I hate when my kids are sick. I would gladly trade to be the sick one they are just too little to understand. But we are on the mend. Now we are just little snot machines. Here are some of our sick activities.

Renee had given Mason as egg that in water would hatch a dinosaur. He was very proud of his baby dinosaur and wanted to have a picture of it.

Margie had given Avery a little Disney phone and Avery loves it. She plays with it by pushing the buttons and then putting it to her ear and says, "Hi" or "Ello?"

Bath time Fun

We celebrated Todd's 33rd birthday. Here he is enjoying a birthday margarita at a great little Mexican restaurant. We had such a fun night. This is a good time to say that I am married to a good man. He is kind, strong, smart, loving, hardworking, and an excellent family man. Plus, he is crazy good looking. I am so glad to be a part of his life.

I gave Todd a trip to Vegas for his birthday. He will be going with Tom and his brothers. I am very proud of my gift since he has never been to Vegas and my gifts never seem to be very great. He leaves the 8th of April and will be having an entire guy weekend in sin city.
