Kittens!

We got 2 kittens today. Alley Cat and Jackson are suppose to be around 3 months old. They are originally barn kittens that have spent their days outside and their nights in the barn. Their mama is a hunter and at least Jack is litter trained. Alley is suppose to be but I haven't actually seen her use the box. They are everything that kittens should be adorable, fun, rambunctious, innocent, and curious. The kids love them and we are learning how to handle them. Mason is completely smitten with them and likes to hold his kittens. He has learned not to let go of them until their feet are on the ground, not to grab them by their neck, and we are working on not having to hold them constantly, but that one is hard. Avery really likes to hold them when you hand them to her and kisses and hugs them. Todd is even enjoying them and letting me have them in the house some. I think that he is finding it difficult to not love these little kitties. We are slowly trying to introduce them to the others. We started with Carter today and he is aware of them and has been tolerant so far. Jack hissed at him and Alley could have cared less she just wanted his food. We are holding off on the dogs for awhile.
