Grandma & Grandpa Bertsch's Visit

Grandpa and Grandma Bertsch were here for 6 days and it was a great visit. The kids enjoyed getting to do things with grandma and grandpa. And as always we really kept busy with the kids and we were able to go to the gym several times, get a few shopping trips in, and had a blast getting to know Gene a little better. It was just a really nice time. Mason kept saying, "Grandma Bertsch, Grandma Bertsch" which was cute. Avery had her doctor appointment and we were all talking about how many words Avery says. Grandma and grandpa swear that she says more actual words than I think that she says. So, all week if she would say something they would very happily point it out to me. One funny time was when Grandpa asked Avery is she could say drink and she replied, "Yes", but never did say drink. We all had a laugh.

While Grandpa Bertsch was at the house we threw him a birthday party. His birthday was a week after he left. Not bad for 60!

This was the first time at the zoo that the kids were both out of the double stroller. They were really good and they had fun. The debate is still out if I am brave enough to try this by myself.
