Cody Part 3

My mom and I would take the kids on walks around Valley View. This was such a nice time before the kid's bedtime. Plus, it was nice for me and my mom to have that time together with the kids. We put some miles on this double stroller. We got good at finding and pointing out rabbits, horses, cats, and dogs for Mason to see. We also got many many landscaping ideas.

Towards the end of our trip, I had decided that I would like to go to Billings. Mason spent the day with Gramma Shepard, Avery stayed with my Dad, and I went to Billings with my Mom. I had a really really great time in Billings. We shopped, chatted, and ate great lunch. It was a really great day! Here is what Gramma Shepard and Mason did.

FUN

This was Avery's day to spend with Gramma Shepard. They went to church. Carol said that there was no lack of people that wanted to hold Avery. A lot of people also said how she was a perfect angel in church.

Mason turned 2 while we were in Cody and he had 3 birthday parties, one at my Mom's, one at my Dad's, and one at Todd's parents. Todd was able to fly in for the one at Shepard's house. That was very special since he could only miss 2 days of work, so he spent 1 day in Cody and the other traveling to and from Cody.

I think that this was the best vacation that I have ever had. It was such a nice time to unwind and relax and be with our families. Since we were home for a month, there was no hurry, no deadlines, no rush! I loved it and so did the kids!
