Today Mason and I were going to work on colors, I went and got his crayons. I had held up the green one and repeated the color. Mason was not having it so I suggested we work on counting. Mason said excitedly, "Counting, counting." We were counting 1,2,3, 1,2,3, 1,2,3, 4,5,6. Then Avery needed a diaper change and a nap so I went to do that. When I came back he kept handing me the crayon box with all the crayons in it. I was so happy that he put them all in the box. He kept saying, "Fourteen, fourteen." I took them and thanked him for putting them all away. He got upset and said, "Fourteen, fourteen." Then he wanted them back. I gave them back to him and he dumped them out and counted them out, fourteen. Wow. My little baby is a genius.
The other day I told Mason that if he peed in the potty I would dance. He had been playing and he told me, "Mama, pee pee," so we ran to the potty and he peed. I was so proud of him! He peed in the potty and then he pointed at me and said, "I pee pee, you dance!" I laughed so hard while I was dancing!
Aren't kids fun! That's a cute story.
