Hello Brad,
Todd and I were in your financial peace university (FPU) class in April. I wanted to share with you our progress. We have paid off a whopping amount on our debt in 6 months and are going strong! Our first goal was to have Avery's hospital bills, taxes paid and our van paid off by the end of the year. We did all that in 3 months and now have been tackling our student loan. We are so proud to say that we have paid off 51% of that loan. We have worked hard; had garage sales and shopped at them too instead of retail stores, lowered house costs (by eliminating home phone, using different light bulbs, downgrade TV package, and hooked up the natural gas instead of propane), coupon clipped, budgeted, and said "NO" a lot. I am happy to say that it is WORKING and we are proud of our progress. We would like to thank you for giving us the tools to achieve our goal. We rest easy knowing that our kids will go to college and we will be financially ok.
