Easter Fun

Easter was a great day for us. We had a fun relaxed day. Since Avery still wasn't feeling 100% she had a jammie day. We started out celebrating by telling Mason about our Easter bunny. Our Easter bunny goes to Cody and gathers up our presents then he comes to our house and he hides them. So, the kids and Todd hid in the Avery's room while the Easter bunny hid the kid's presents. Mason loved finding them. The kids got some really great things, sunglasses, socks, bracelets, a necklace, a kite, a ball, bubbles, money, toothbrushes, a game, and goodies. The kids had fun and it was really nice. Mason had so much fun blowing bubbles and flying his kite. Avery played with her ball and ate her goodies. She is now getting over her runny nose.

Easter Egg Fun

Mason kept shaking his bank and saying, "Look at all my money! It is full!" He loves to put money in his bank.

So Sweet

Taking opening presents so seriously

New Sunglasses
Avery loves this hat. She wants to wear it often. She will bring it to Todd or I for us to put it on her. She is also bringing us her coat and shoes now. Sometimes if we aren't "getting it" she goes to the door with them and cries.

Lovely Little Girl

Avery with Bun Bun (Mason's nickname for her bunny)

Sweetie pie walking around outside. She really likes to be outside. When the dogs come up to her she gets nervous and wants someone to hold her. She will even lift up her feet so that she doesn't touch them. Carter is a different story she likes to pet him.

The Kite! Mason saw a kite a week or so ago. He kept asking me where his kite was. I told him that he didn't have one. Well he got one for Easter and loved flying it. He didn't take the responsibility of holding onto the handle lightly. He kept repeating, "Don't let go, Mason. Look at my kite, it is way up there in the ky (how he says sky). Look at it. It is so high, I can't reach it. Don't let go."

Holding the handle under Dad's supervision.

Mason also kept telling Todd, "Thanks for my kite, Daddy. Oh Daddy, thank you for my kite." It was so cute.
