Preschool - A Good Fit

Mason has completed his 4th week of preschool. We have receiving much better reports and he has been showing great progress. He is now participating in all the activities, taking turns, and spending a lot less time on the beanbag. They have been learning about the letters H and B. At home he has been saying, "Heavy hippo, heavy hippo" then blowing on his hand making the "h" sound. He also says, "Be, ba, be, ba, be, ba" and is singing several different songs that he is learning in preschool.
We have been seeing some amazing things at home as well and I have to attribute them to preschool. One day he and Avery were jumping on the couch and she was in his self proclaimed spot. He kept telling her to move and that was his spot. Then he said, "Ave this is my spot can you jump over here?" pointing to the other side of the couch. Avery said, "Yeah!" and moved to the other side of the couch. He also asked me, "Can I have turn?" when we were talking on the phone to Grandma.

I am over the moon that Mason and preschool have become a good fit. My heart bursts with pride at my little guy.

One of Mason's homework assignments was to decorating a notebook for his school work. We loved this and had so much fun. He was so proud of his work and how his notebook turned out. It was so awesome to see him so filled with pride.

Another homework assignment was to make shapes in whipped cream. Mason loves this activity and we have done it every day.
