Today Renee came over and we started painting Baby Girl's room. Renee is truly the mastermind and skill that drives this project. Here are a few shots from our day.
This is before we started, bare wall. Renee was outlining the caterpillar, so that I could start painting it.
Renee is deciding how big to make this flower. These 2 walls will actually be a flower garden. Todd will use his excellent trim carpenter skills to add a real picket fence along the wall after the flowers are completed.
Here is me painting a flower for my little baby girl. My back was starting to really kill me here, but it was really important to me to finish this part before I stopped for the night.
Here is our hard work for the day. You can see there are some paintings on the side of the wall (to the left). This took about 3 1/2 hours.
This is my caterpillar. I worked on him for a long time, but he isn't quite finished. He still needs a mouth and antennas.
Here is a pin wheel that will be in the garden. This is a Renee creation!
This is my favorite flower! I love how Renee painted it.
It doesn't look like a lot, but we worked really hard and we were pooped. I have to do some more before Renee gets back so that I can earn my keep, but I might take a little time off today and take Mason to the zoo.
Great job girls - can't wait to see the end results. Carol
