Tree and Shepard Family Update

Today Renee came and painted the tree in Baby Girl Shepard's room. It looks so good. She said that I shouldn't put it on here because she isn't done, but I love it! So, I wanted everyone to see.

Mason's verbal abilities are really expanding. He is trying to imitate everything that we say and he is asking, "that?" about almost everything that he sees. He is truly a little sponge. Todd and I are trying so hard to talk all the time about what we are doing and what things are called so that he is getting the exposure that he needs. This is a really fun stage.














Lately he has been showing us that he has things he really likes those seem to include his Santa hat and his snow boots. He will often bring his boots to us and want us to help him put them on. Mason also is working on taking his pants off and on. He gets very upset when he can't figure our how to get them back on and he doesn't want any help. I am not entirely sure that I like him doing that, since I am afraid that the diaper is next, but hopefully, he won't think of that anytime soon. I am praying!

Todd has now lost 23.5 pounds. He looks great and is really happy with his progress! Yeah Todd!

Work has been crazy! We put a newspaper insert in the paper inviting people to come in and try some new technology. We have become inindated with response. We have scheduled between 25 and 30 people for next week and it is starting to trickle into the next week. The technology is very good and I am excited to offer people information and a demonstration of it. I have to admit that I am pooped and a little worried because we haven't even started the hard work yet. Renee and I will work all week together to try to keep up on the workload. I am so thankful that we work really well together.

Also a few weeks ago I had talked about Sara's tooth and Sydney's toe. Well I did take Sara to the vet in Trinidad and he ended up cleaning her teeth. The part that was broken and loose had fallen off and wasn't sensitive at all so no $400 tooth extraction was neccessary. I was very glad that I took her down there because it saved us a ton of money and she is perfectly fine. Also Sydney's toe seems to have healed fine and she isn't limping anymore. So, both dogs are in good shape again.
