Ride In The Ol' Ford
Today I heard the saddest words that a mother will ever hear. Todd had started up the old Ford and decided to take Mason for a ride. They were going to have some "real guy time" a man, his son and his truck. So, as they were pulling away and I was snapping pictures like a crazy woman Todd said, "Tell Mom, bye we gotta go have a driving lesson." That is when my sweet little baby said those words, "Gotta go Mama." Today a driving lesson tomorrow college! Todd said that Mason had so much fun! They were driving around the dirt roads and Mason was looking out the windows and enjoying hanging out with Dad.

That relationship of guys and their trucks --- we can't compete, and "Gotta go Mom" --- that will come more often from here on out...til one day, before you know it, and you are right, it will be as he leaves for college. Our time w/ them goes TOOOOOO swiftly.
