Gramma and Grandpa Shepard's

The last week that we were Cody we spent it at the Shepard's. It was a wonderful week. Carol took 2 days off while we were there and we got some really great Gramma time. We played outside a lot. The kids loved the sprinklers and the shark pool. We also went to the Park County fair which was a lot of fun. It was so helpful that the adults out numbered the kids 4 to 2. We looked at all of animals, Mason got to give a thirsty pig a drink of water, ate fair food, and went on many little kid rides. We were hesitant to have Avery go because I didn't know if she would like the rides, but she had a blast. Todd had the opportunity to work on his parent's house, we ate great food, visited with Grandma Jean, and broke Avery of her binki. It was a very very nice week.

Mason and Avery love Gramma Shepard's mama tiger.

Todd caught up on some naps when he was in Cody. We really got off our schedules. The kids would sleep until 9 am and nap in the very late afternoon, this put bedtime about 10:30 pm. It was awesome to sleep with the kids not only did they sleep longer, but we all got naps.

"Come on Avery"

Gramma sang the country song Long Tall Cowboy and Mason really liked it. When we got home he asked me to sing the long tall cowboy song and when I started it (from what I could remember) he told me, "Stop Mama don't sing it anymore only Gramma Shepard can sing it."

Love our new hats
