Summary of Our July

Our vacation was wonderful. We did so many things that we enjoyed. We stayed at each set of grandparents' homes. We took our first swim lessons, set off our first fireworks, watched a parade, went on camping trips, made our first smores, fished, had a 3rd birthday which included a bounce house, saw many relatives, went to the museum, played in the sprinklers, went to the fair, and went to the Denver zoo. I love this month. I relaxed. I enjoyed my kids, but I was able to learn, read, and grow. I learned that if you pour tomato juice and beer in the cup at the same time there will be no foam, I learned the magic of serrated knives and celery salt, I learned how to cut up a cantaloupe super fast without much waste, I tasted the best jerky that I have ever tasted, I visited my Nanny's house, which is now occupied by someone else, I started doing crossword puzzles, tried new recipes, read a "fun" book, learned how to do a lunge properly, slept until 9 am, napped, and I absolutely cherished my time with my very loved family. It was WONDERFUL!
