The Shepard Playground

It is no secret that we don't have a fenced in yard with a beautiful green grassy patch for the children to play in so we have had to get creative. The beginning of the summer we filled a sandbox for the kids since it was in the garage I have officially given up my parking spot. Then we got the little car out that the neighbors gave us last spring and Avery loves it, Mason's tricycle and toy lawn mower followed. Then we added the new shelf for their bubbles and sidewalk chalk. This is one space that I am very happy that the kids have squandered away from us. It is very nice for us to be able to be outside and play without having to worry about snakes, cactus, sunburns, and zero preparation.
Mason loves to make "a hole" in the sand

Avery might be a little maniac, even so she is ridiculously adorable. She gets in her little car and moves the wheel back and forth as fast as she can. This is so so so fun.

Both kids in the sandbox.
Avery hugging Sara. She loves the animals. We watch them very close with the kids, actually this is the same dog that bit Mason last year. Since we have had a lot of instruction on how we act around dogs.
