The beginning of this week we visited the zoo. This was the first time Avery got to get out of the stroller. There is a building with several animal exhibits and since it is enclosed and I can watch them well. I let them run free. They were having so much fun. Avery loved the watching the monkeys and Mason liked the tarantula. There were also some other children in there and Mason was a little social butterfly. He kept going up to the other kids and talking right too them. Sometimes he would repeat what they were saying. I get a kick out of him exploring these social interactions it is like he is trying to figure out what is acceptable and what isn't. Avery seems to enjoying watching the kids too, but prefers to do it from a far (right by Mom). Makes me laugh that we went to the zoo to watch children. My only regret was that I didn't get a picture of Avery. Here are some photos of Mason on some of the statues on the grounds.
