I have to say that I have been very pleased with Mason's reaction to Avery. I was worried about how one baby would react to another. Mostly I was worried for my Mason. He was so used to all the attention and I knew that it couldn't be the same when we brought Avery home. I didn't know if he would understand and I was worried that he would have hurt feelings over this big change. But Mason has been so good with her being here and all the attention that she gets as a newborn. He likes to see her, kiss her, put his head on her, touch her hair and face, and hold her. He will often say, "Hi Baby" and point to things that are hers, "Baby's". I think that if things keep up this way they will be fast friends, which makes their mother very very happy. Mason is demonstrating some multitasking here, helping Daddy feed Avery and watching Imagination Movers (one of his favorite shows) on TV.
